Leadership
Before Anna Slaydon started her counseling career, she worked in the financial services industry for nearly two decades. During that time, she received a considerable amount of leadership and management training. She’s used to leading large teams, engaging in fair practices, and building a workplace culture that thrives. She’s also trained as a Journey Architect, which means she’s had plenty of experience building policies and procedures that make sense, put clients first, and ensure teammates aren’t bogged down in red tape.
She brings all that corporate experience in to her practice management. She knows we need a strong team to make that happen. When we take care of our teammates, they take care of our clients. She is committed to clear, transparent communication and expects it from the teammates she serves. Anna is passionate about talent development and wants you to feel like your career is being nutured for growth. She is fully dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive workplace for everyone. She is constantly working on her own development as a leader and as a counselor.
Our Position On Insurance
We believe in providing wrap-around care to our clients. We also know that insurance requirements and regulations often get in the way of doing the right thing for our clients. Insurance is often unkind to providers – paying ridiculously low rates, delaying payment, overly structured notes, and binding your time up in punitive audits. Your time is valuable and is best spent caring for your clients. Need to spend 2 hours with a client? Insurance says no – we say yes. That’s why we don’t take insurance. This means that you’ll get paid on-time, have a more streamlined system for notes, and have much more free time. For our clients, this means you are mentally fresh and empowered to do the right things for the right reasons.
Sounds like someplace you’d like to be?
