Danielle Turpin, LCMHCA
Danielle Turpin (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) at Greater Hope Center for OCD. She earned her Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands and her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Rehabilitation Sciences from East Carolina University.
Danielle has a diverse background working with adolescents and young adults in various settings. She specializes in supporting individuals through Anxiety, Depression, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and challenges with self-esteem and body dysmorphia. Danielle integrates evidence-based practices such as Exposure Response Prevention Therapy (ERPT), Inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) through a person-centered lens. Danielle also emphasizes positive psychology, integrating the client’s strengths and skill sets into their individual development. She is intentional in creating a safe space for clients to vulnerably explore while utilizing various interventions to meet her clients’ needs.
Outside of therapy sessions, Danielle enjoys taking movement classes, attending concerts, traveling, and spending time with her family.
