About Emma
Emma Cowell
Emma has been passionate about the counseling and mental health field from a young age and has always felt drawn to supporting others through difficult experiences with empathy and compassion. That passion led her to pursue both my Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees through Liberty University.
As a student intern, she is committed to creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe to show up authentically and without judgment. Emma is excited to sit with each person’s unique story. Emma is especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating OCD, anxiety, and related challenges. She is excited to continue growing her skills in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities that empower clients to move toward healing. Her goal is to help clients build self-compassion, develop confidence in their abilities, and feel supported as they work toward healing and growth.
