Kristin Cheshire, LCMHCS is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor with over 16 years of experience in the behavioral health field and a decade of progressive leadership in high-acuity treatment settings. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University and has dedicated the majority of her career to serving individuals in higher levels of care, including inpatient, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs.
Kristin is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), specializing in supporting children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. She is currently advancing her clinical skillset through specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) with Greater Hope, further strengthening her ability to support individuals navigating anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders. In addition to seeing clients, Kristin also serves as Greater Hope’s Clinical Director.
Outside of work, Kristin enjoys spending time outdoors, tending to her garden, and engaging in creative outlets such as drawing—practices that reflect her commitment to balance, presence, and intentional living.
