About Kayla

Kayla Foster

Kayla Foster is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Mount Olive, with the goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). Kayla is currently a Clinical Intern at Greater Hope, where her clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Through this experience, Kayla has gained clinical experience in both ASD Burnout Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) for OCD through Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP).

With a strong interest in neurodiversity and pediatric mental health, Kayla strives to help clients better understand themselves while building skills that support their individual needs. Kayla values a compassionate, neuro-affirming approach to care and is committed to creating a supportive environment where clients feel understood, accepted, and comfortable being themselves. The goal is to recognize each individual’s strengths, honor their differences, and provide individualized support that meets their unique needs.

Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her dogs, coloring, baking sourdough, and running!

Let's begin the work, together.
